Shumua Al-Amal Complex for Special Education and Rehabilitation welcomed its students with disabilities as the new academic year began, marking the start of a new educational and rehabilitation journey filled with learning, development, and achievement.
The Complex welcomed students and their families in a warm and supportive atmosphere, with the participation of educational, rehabilitation, and administrative teams. The welcoming activities aimed to help students feel comfortable and confident as they returned to the educational environment and began a new academic year.
The first days of the academic year included a dedicated Orientation Week, featuring a variety of educational, recreational, and interactive activities tailored to the needs and abilities of students with disabilities. The program focused on helping students gradually adapt to the school environment, become familiar with their daily routines, and establish positive relationships with teachers, specialists, and their peers.
Shumua Al-Amal Complex also placed strong emphasis on engaging with families during the beginning of the academic year. Families were welcomed and provided with information about the educational and rehabilitation programs and services available to their children, while communication channels were strengthened to better understand their needs, expectations, and feedback.
The beginning of the new academic year reflects the Complex’s continued commitment to providing a specialized and supportive environment for persons with disabilities, focusing on developing their abilities and skills, promoting independence, and supporting their participation and inclusion in the community.
Through its specialized programs and dedicated team, Shumua Al-Amal Complex looks forward to a successful academic year filled with meaningful experiences, continuous development, and new achievements for its students and their families.
