Conclusion of Shumua Al-Amal Qur’an Competition

Under the generous patronage of H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Sumari, Director General of the Eastern Province Branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Shumua Al-Amal concluded the “Shumua Al-Amal Qur’an Memorization and Recitation Competition (Rattel)”, dedicated to individuals with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The competition was organized in cooperation with the Quran Memorization Charity Society in the Eastern Province, in a distinguished closing ceremony attended by officials, families, and community members.

The ceremony commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, reflecting the spiritual foundation of the competition. This was followed by a speech delivered by the Director General of Shumua Al-Amal Complex, who expressed pride in the participants and commended their remarkable dedication and excellence in memorization and recitation. He emphasized that the competition reflects Shumua Al-Amal’s mission to empower individuals with disabilities by creating meaningful platforms that highlight their talents and strengthen their connection to the Holy Qur’an.

He further noted that the “Rattel” competition is a qualitative initiative aimed at promoting inclusion, confidence, and personal development within a supportive and motivating environment rooted in Qur’anic values.

The ceremony included the announcement of winners and the honoring of participants in both categories.
